My private background beside the dogs
To give a more complete picture of me as a person, You can read abouth my background - beside the dogs - below.
I have two adult children, Dennis and Alice. Both have they found their companion in life, Berit and Thomas. Two grandchildren is the result so far, Ayla soon five years and Loke on two years. They have both been accustomed to dogs from when they where born. They love my dogs and vice versa.

My professional carrier has shaped me into the person I am today. After studying medicine for approximately a year – primarily genetics and biochemistry, that had my interest – I changed to an education with salary in KTAS (former national phone company), and became married. Before a turned 30, I had a management position that quickly changed into various executive jobs within customer relations, service phone, organisation, marketing, economics, and education. In 1996 I was appointed head of personnel, and the last year I was head of communication (TDC it was called now). In this position, I had plenty of opportunity to write articles each week for our company portal. I was here that I realized how much I love to write.

It therefore came natural to me, to start writing articles for a couple of dog magazines when I found myself slightly annoyed every time I saw the TV program “Its me or the dog” shown a couple of years on British and American TV. I thought it was sad to see, how many dogs that had taken domestic control because of the owners lack of understanding for the dogs needs, and yes, I would call it laziness and ignorance. The lack of stimuli was basically the main problem.
My series of articles was therefore called “Its me AND the dog”, where I wrote about a lot of small things the owner can do, to improve their dog life with out putting to big an effort into it.

I was very grateful to be able to end my carrier a couple of years ago, when my company (TDC) had developed, after my opinion, in a wrong direction. I never succeeded in breaking the glass ceiling and become a director, but never mind, I have always had the pleasure of being able to express my opinion, having influence, and putting changes into effect.

I had never hoped, being able to realize my dream of my present life with dogs “fulltime”. But in the end the dream came true.
