Oline is the most calm and harmonic Border Collie you can imagine. In the beginning, she had to have extensive environmental training since ordinary stuff scared her. For instance she had to be carried into the car, since she did not like driving at all. Now she loves it, and happily jumps in herself.
She was on an exhibition just before she turned 2 years. English referee John R. Tchie, and achieved two red ribbon. Quite ok, I just wanted to get a 1 place, according to the racial standard, and we got it.
Oline has been training obedience ( DKK-programs - DKK = The Danish Kennel Club) and that she really likes. She absolutely has talent, and perhaps we will begin again some time in the future. Hers, and my heart is definitely lies with the sheep. When her upcoming litter is well on their way, herding will recommence, and the ambition is to get the herding certificate. Oline is not a beginners dog, with herding. I, my self, do not have sheep, and is therefore dependant on being able to train else ware and get help from people with routine in sheep handling.
