Dee Dee’s dam Gail is Maj-Britts leading work dog. Maj-britt is a professional shepherd on the moor by Karup. She is in charge of maintaining the landscape and has in the area around 200 mother sheep. Besides that, the dogs Honey, witch is the of the same litter as Oline, and Alic who is of Maj-britts own breed (after Gail and Yoda) assists. Maj-britt also has Leslie, a lovely male Blue merle, witch is related to Sullivan. Leslie has been a priceless help in various drive inns and pathways. He is now on pension. Finally Maj-britt has a rottweiler witch is a antitheft dog against sheep thieves. This has unfortunately become a necessity.

Dee Dee’s sire Yoda lives on a farm in northern Jutland with Jette Friis, where he is surrounded by sheep. He also trains on ducks, but this is mostly for fun. He does have a famous English father, Ben. Yoda has already bred numerous litters, witch all, without exception has turned out really good. See more about Yoda under kennel.

Below some very essential reasons for why it was Dee Dee, I chose (or actually the litter). Chap is a very small male dog, but with a fantastic herding capacity. Even though he is not so young anymore, Jette Friis uses him as her primary herding dog in the daily work on the farm and at herding shows, and at course activities.
Ben is also a fantastic trial herding dog, who has won basically everything that is worth winning in the UK.
