Cassie 1½ years old
Cassie has just turned 1½. She has already tried quite a lot in her life- 7-8 months old she was switched on, on sheep. She just saw them and, and automatically started sneaking up on them – it was just like seeing her father Joey! Cassie was training on sheep a couple of months after – free running sheep- and she works like a dream ! Young as she was, it was time to turn down the pace a little bit, in order not to rush it.
To try something else, we started on Pre agility school in VAS ( the local Border Collie branch in Vallensbaek just south of Copenhagen) . Casie thinks that agility is great fun. She also has good talent and speed will be no problem!
Now I am in a bit of a dilemma: Should Cassie use her life on herding sheep, or do we bet on a carrier on agility ? So far, the decision is on stand by, and we shall do both.
